In the current economic climate, it’s important to start to think of where your business could save money. On average, a large percent of businesses electricity bills are spent on lighting there premises.
A way of reducing your energy consumption is to consider upgrading your premises lighting to a new Energy Efficient System.
Over the last few years, Electromech Contracts LTD have been involved in a number of relighting systems for our Customers. LED lighting has moved on dramatically in the last few years, and we have been involed in a number of LED relighting schemes. In the last two years, we have relit a large warehouse distribution centre in the West Midlands using LED fittings, with intelligant built in relays within every fitting. Meaning that the lighting can be dimmed during daytime with the atmospheric light within the building, in some cases switched off altogether.
For walkways and areas of non high use, the fittings also detect human movement, switching on when occupancy is detected. Thus saving power for the customer. A massive saving on costs from the previous Mercury High Bay Lighting was seen almost instantly from the Customer.
Commercial customers have also seen benifits from replacing existing flourescent modular office fittings to LED panel lights. The light output given from the LED fittings is much greater than the flourescents, and also a cost saving is seen in Electricity bills for the customer.
