Electromech Contracts we’re given the task of improving the lighting within a pallet repair workshop in the West Midlands. The previous fittings were originally metal haloid fittings but at some point had been retrofitted with LED corn lamps. Due to the very dusty nature of the workshop, the lamps had suffered badly from dust ingression, and because of this many had failed and was either flashing on and off or really dull. We installed replacement LED lights which have a higher IP rating and a much improved light output from the previous LED lamps. The lighting within the work task area has been greatly improved and the customer is very satisfed with the outcome.
